Is it safe to Travel to Mexico now? Karisma Resorts says...

CONSUMER/TRAVELERS’ STATEMENT: ENSURED SAFETY AT EL DORADO SPA RESORTS & HOTELS AND AZUL HOTELS, BY KARISMA

Despite the negative publicity surrounding drugs and recent violence at the Mexican border, El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels by Karisma remain safe travel destinations for visitors.  We continue to monitor the situation daily and have been reassured by the tourism ministry that popular tourist destinations, including Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, and the Riviera Maya – where our properties are located – all remain safe for tourists.  Border towns, including Chihuahua and Tijuana, which are the focus of such turmoil, are more than 1,500 miles and 2,000 miles away from Riviera Maya, respectively.

The management staff of El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels by Karisma is committed to providing our guests with exceptional and memorable experiences, and their safety and satisfaction will continue to be our top priority.
